The fourth test between England and Australia is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, July 19 at 3:30 p.m. at the Old Trafford Cricket Ground.

England Team Previews:

The Ashes required a unique performance from the hosts, who reserved their best for the Headingley Test in which the Stokes-led squad prevailed in a close match despite all odds being against them.

Mark Wood and Chris Woakes’ involvement made a difference since they not only contributed with the ball but also, when necessary, formed a vital partnership in the effort to steal a victory for their team. Despite the criticism Bazball received throughout the first two Test matches, England stuck to their game plan and chased down 251 in just 50 overs to make a powerful statement.

But things aren’t always going well for them. Ollie Robinson suffered an injury in the middle of the third Test, and the fourth Test has been canceled. The home team has already released their lineup, and Anderson is back in the lineup.

Anything other than England winning will guarantee that Australia will keep the Ashes. The hosts have a lot on the line.

Australia Team Previews:

The opposition had played outstanding cricket the entire series, but they were unable to maintain composure while defending 251. Australia still has a 2-1 advantage, and all they need is a draw to win back the Ashes.

The return of Mitch Marsh was one of several positives the visitors could take despite the defeat. In his first Test match back, the Western Australian cricketer hit a brilliant century, saving his team’s bacon in the first innings.

The squad will be concerned about David Warner and Marnus Labuschagne’s performance, though, since the pair has struggled throughout the series. There will just be one change for the Australian team, as Josh Hazlewood will replace Scott Boland in the starting lineup.
